Vintage 1949 Motorola 7VT5, 7" Portable TV
.
Cosmetics are good overall with some small scratches and small stains/dirt here and there. The antenna and stand that stowed in the lid are missing and the leather hold downs are dry rotted and split. The gasket around the picture tube face/mask dried out and was removed at some point. Be sure to see all the photos below including close-up shots.
The chassis was completely recapped by someone and a quick test shows it lights up the picture tube and sound is heard through the speaker right now
. I did not test any of tubes but did test the RCA 7JP4 picture tube.

I am selling this TV and all its parts as-is, display only, not working, for parts and repair, no returns.
TV measures 9 1/2” tall, 17 1/4” wide, 20” deep and weighs 28 lb.
Box will measure 14” tall, 22” wide, and 25” deep and weigh 33 lb. when packed.
Good, strong packing supplies/boxes including 2” thick hard Styrofoam to line the boxes will cost and FedEx Ground shipping (cheapest/ best handling ground service) will cost 0.00.
