I am the original owner of this marvelous component system KX 2501, VTX 1000 Frequency Synthesizer and RM-705 Remote Commander and both small side speakers and Sony Tower Speakers that were available separately for the component system. This is the large 25” model. Was quite expensive back in 1982. Includes all original brochures. It has been recently tested as follows:
Conected DVD player directly to the monitor and through the component tuner and abble to view the DVD on the monitor as seen in the pictures. I do not have cable so could not test a cable input through the component tuner. In any case due to the age of this unit it
is being sold as is for pick up only.
Cosmetically excellent condition. The doors are detached from the tuner and the control panel on the bottom of the monitor. I believe that I still have the digital conversion kit that came with it for the 34 pin connector on the back but will have to look for it. I see another similar one up for sale on ebay for ,000 without all of the extras that I am including.  I am bringing this great Sony Profeel System to my home in
Port Saint Lucie, Florida end of October where it will be available for pick up
