Description
***PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYINGThis listing is for a Sony KV-4000 portable TV that powers up but doesn't load any TV stations. I'm not sure if it's not receiving any stations because it's old technology or it's not functioning so this is being sold "AS IS". Included is the TV, battery pack, black case and car charger.
The TV is in very good well-kept condition. The housing is clean with no cracks, breaks or deep scratches. It has an antenna that is perfectly straight and has very nice chrome which can be seen in the video. I don't know anything about operating this as there are no instructions so I'm only able to push buttons and turn dials to see what happens. It powers up and the screen comes on but I can't get any TV stations to load but it does have sound for what I believe is a radio station. When I change the selector from "Manual" to "Auto" it does bring in a few more stations with static but no pictures. When I push the buttons on the front nothing happens and I don't know if they are not working or if there's no available signals that changes can be made. Again, because of all of this that's why this is an "AS IS" sale.
The battery case has a sealed battery pack installed and it's perfectly clean with no signs of ever having any leakage but unfortunately it doesn't charge. The battery pack can be removed and "D" size batteries can be installed or you can just use the included car charger.
The black zippered case is in very good condition with no rip or tears. I don't know if the case is leather or a fake leather.
This is a very heavy item. All packaged it's 14lbs and 3lbs of that is the battery pack. If the interested buyer isn't interested in the battery pack I'll pull it and recalculate shipping from zip code 34104.
Please zoom in on the posted pictures and the video for a close inspection as they are of the actual item and are the best description. I did the best I could with the limited resources eBay provides. They charge selling fees on the sales tax and shipping and you'd think the least they could do is offer the ability to post more than 12 photos and one video. In the video I show a wear spot on the top back part of the case and also the excellent condition of the antenna as well as the station that does receive sound. The last picture shows some scratches on the platform where the controls are located.
This is packed and ready to ship. I'm offering multiple carriers for you to choose the least expensive if you want to save on shipping. Once it sells I just need to print a label, seal and drop off at the shipper.
