    This is an antique Japanese cloisonné double inkwell and pen tray made during the MEIJI era (1868-1912). It has two little porcelain inserts. See all photos. The finely detailed cloisonné surface is in overall excellent, used condition, no dents or breaks or loss. The two porcelain inkwell inserts are also in excellent, used condition, no cracks or chips. This double inkwell is approximately 5 1/4” wide, 3 3/4” deep and 3” tall. It weighs approximately 7.8 ounces. See all photos.
